Our skippers are constantly checking the weather forecast, and we will give you as much notice as possible if we believe your sailing might be delayed or cancelled.
Should the sailing be cancelled we will either provide a refund for that sailing or move you to a different date.
Should you wish to cancel your booking with us, please email us as soon as possible. Our cancellation policy is: Cancellations done more than 48 hours before date and time of travel will receive a refund minus a £10.00 administration fee per person per leg (£20 return per person) however should you cancel after the 48 hour limit no refunds are made or when passenger fails to sail as booked.
Please email us at info@alderneyferry.com with your amendments and subject to availability, bookings can be changed 48 hours before the scheduled sailing time. Please note that an administration fee may apply.
We ask all passengers to arrive 30 minutes before departure, In Alderney we have a seasonal passenger pontoon, please wait in the walled area just in front of the Alderney Sailing Club and a member of our crew will come and get you. On occasions we will have to use other areas for docking but again our crew will assist you.
In Guernsey please wait near the inter-island pontoon, this is the same place as the Herm and Sark vessels leave from, a member of our crew will come and get you.

Yes we accept your furry friends onboard. Please add them to you booking as there is a £5.00 charge each way. Please note they are allowed to sit with you in the cabin on the seat next to you but please bring a blanket to help with the hairs! They don't need to be muzzled unless you feel they need to be for the other passengers safety. We do not limit dogs on the vessel so there can be others on board plus cats, birds etc. Please contact us with special requirements
Yes we accept bikes, electric bikes onboard. Please add them to you booking as there is a tier charge each way. Please note you travel with your bikes at you own risk and they will be outside on the deck secured to the railings. To help our crew please make sure any packs etc are remove to make it lighter to lift onboard. You can add bikes last minute and pay onboard via cash or card.
We can carry all and as much sporting equipment you need, we don't have a limit , as long as you can carry it on and off the boat you an bring it free of charge.

We can take an unaccompanied minor over the age of 11 onboard, they must be collected and dropped off by a parent to and from the boat. They must be sat indoors at all times and will be sat next to the skipper.

Our crew will come ashore after docking at J or K pontoon and take you to the passport control and then get you on the boat to depart for Alderney. Please note if you have an EU passport you do not need to go to PAF in Cherbourg but will have to wait at the boat until everyone is onboard.
