Alderney Ferry Services Limited
Established in 2022, we are family-run business to provide a lifeline regular ferry service for passengers between the islands of Alderney and Guernsey. The ferry company’s first vessel, ‘Causeway Explorer’, will run a daily schedule of crossings between the islands at convenient times for the public, thereby helping to fill a much-needed gap in the current transport arrangements in the Bailiwick. The timetable of scheduled crossings will allow passengers a full day to visit either of the islands before the return leg.
In 2023 we invested into our second vessel 'Sorcerer II', she will be working alongside 'Causeway Explorer' on Guernsey and Cherbourg trips throughout the season.
In July 2024 we invested in an all year round vessel to finally provide a sea link that will support our islands transport link throughout the summer and winter.

CAUSEWAY EXPLORER
She is a Cygnus Cyfish 38, and our main vessel for Guernsey and Alderney. She has been beautifully built to provide plenty of seating inside and outside.
SORCERER II
She is a Lochin 40 Sports Fisherman, and our main vessel for France and Alderney. She is an exceptional vessel to run in the waters around Alderney. We also use her for Fishing charters 'Hooked on Alderney' including Blue fin Tuna Fishing- We are the only vessel in the Channel Islands with a licence to catch and release these awesome predators.
DART FISHER
The newest addition to the fleet- She is a 24 meter Alicat capable of working all year round to and from Alderney. With a service speed of 20 knots she is capable of getting to Guernsey in around 1 hour.
